Free matching and career-tool analysis run in your browser. Indent does not receive or store the resume, bullet, or job-description text you paste unless you choose a signed-in Pro storage feature. We count daily pageviews and completed tool uses by page. These aggregate counts do not contain pasted text, names, email addresses, IP addresses, or visitor IDs. They do not measure unique visitors.

Accounts

Sign in is provided by ChatGPT. Indent receives a site-specific user identifier plus the email and optional display name associated with that sign-in. The site-specific identifier is used to keep records separated by owner.

Pro storage

When a Pro user explicitly saves a resume, the original file and extracted text are stored in private object storage. Saved match history includes the resume text and job description used for that report. Ownership metadata and payment-entitlement state are stored in the application database. Files are never placed at public URLs.

Payments

When checkout is enabled, Paddle processes payments, applicable tax, receipts, and refunds. Indent stores Paddle customer and transaction identifiers so paid access can be granted or revoked. Indent does not receive full card details.

Advertising

Indent may apply to Google AdSense. Ads are not shown until the site is approved and configured. If ads are enabled, Google may use cookies or similar technology according to its own policies; we will update this notice and any required consent controls before activating ads.

Deletion and retention

You can delete individual resumes and match reports from your workspace, or delete all saved resumes and reports together. This leaves your account and any Pro entitlement intact so a purchase is not lost. Contact us to request closure of your account record; transaction records may still need to be retained by Paddle or Indent for legal or accounting reasons.

Security and limits

Every private record and file request is checked against the signed-in user identifier. No internet service can promise absolute security; if you discover an issue, contact hello@indent.cc.
